As a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll be part of an exceptional team of over 30 SQL and data visualization specialists. Our Data Analytics department is organized around 11 problem spaces that mirror the structure of the entire company, ensuring that every decision we make at Cabify is data-driven.<\/p>\n
In your day-to-day role, you’ll work in a multidisciplinary squad with other disciplines such as Product, Engineering, Growth, and Operations. We also follow agile methodologies within each analytics group and foster an environment of knowledge and resource sharing among the department.<\/p>\n
If you’re passionate about managing large volumes of data, you’ll be delighted to know we leverage two different data warehouses, Google BigQuery and Amazon Redshift, to perform intensive analysis thus maximizing operational efficiency.<\/p>\n
We take pride in working with one of the largest Tableau Server platforms in Europe, where we share not only powerful analysis and visualizations but also Self Service Data Sources, making data accessible to the entire company.<\/p>\n
Lead technical data projects autonomously to enhance the company’s analytics capabilities through functions such as:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Exploit large-scale data warehouses performing efficient SQL.
\n\u2022 Define ETL and abstract data models in our data warehouse with Airflow.
\n\u2022 Document and maintain your code and queries in Gitlab.
\n\u2022 Define the squad analytics and reports using Tableau \/ PowerBI to communicate results and monitor KPIs regularly.
\n\u2022 Generate and execute ideas for exploratory analysis to shape future projects and provide action recommendations.
\n\u2022 Define KPIs and present findings to squad members and senior management to guide business and product decisions.
\n\u2022 Lead discussions with the engineering team to define and design everything required to satisfy our data needs.
\n\u2022 Help design new features alongside product managers and engineers, giving data insights, measuring their performance and testing their business impact.
\n\u2022 Develop Data Sources to use across the organization, thus empowering business by exploring data in a trusted environment.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 +3 years of working experience as a Data Analyst
\n\u2022 Proficient in writing and understanding complex SQL and working with large data sets
\n\u2022 Working expertise of Tableau or PowerBI
\n\u2022 Product Analytics experience with Amplitude, Datadog, Mixpanel, or similar
\n\u2022 Graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields
\n\u2022 Fluency in English and Spanish<\/p>\n
A Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related<\/p>\n
