Role:<\/h3>\n

\u2022 Serve as a key member of the platform team in helping to succeed in building services on the Data, Analytics, and AI platform. Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
\n\u2022 Analyze the data needs of the company and use skills in coding to maintain secure databases.
\n\u2022 Design the systems required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and big data technologies.
\n\u2022 Design scalable data pipelines to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity, increasing data accessibility, and fostering data-driven decision-making across the organization.
\n\u2022 Ensure security and governance of the data. Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
\n\u2022 Ensure that all systems meet the business\/company requirements as well as industry practices. Collaborate with members of the teams (Data scientists, Data analysts, Architects, etc.) on achieving goals.
\n\u2022 Work with stakeholders including the Business & IT teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support company needs.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/h3>\n

\u2022 Strong experience in designing, architecting, and implementing some of the following: Distributed high-scale applications, Big Data, Analytics, high-performance Databases & Data Warehouses.
\n\u2022 Experience architecting and developing solutions built on public clouds: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud.
\n\u2022 Working knowledge of software development practices and technologies: Agile (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), CI\/CD, DevOps, DataOps, IaC, Automation, API-first, Microservices.
\n\u2022 Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Azure Synapse, Azure Cosmos DB, Amazon RedShift, Google Cloud
\n\u2022 BigTable, MongoDB, Cassandra.
\n\u2022 Experience with big data tools: Spark.
\n\u2022 Experience developing Microservices and with languages like Python, Java, Scala, and Node.js.
\n\u2022 Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
\n\u2022 Fluency in English is essential.<\/p>\n
