About the job
This is an attractive opportunity for an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to join a rental property management company early in its trajectory. This role will report directly to the Head of Salesforce and be responsible for the technical design and implementation of all the Salesforce ecosystem.
The role is based in Madrid.
Role Description
• Lead the Salesforce development team and ensure that state-of-the-art best practices and coding standards are always applied
• Lead the design and implementation of the Salesforce and Cloud Integrations architecture, as well as its continuous improvement and evolution to optimize performance
• Lead the evolution of the current automated CI/CD process
• Follow-up on the features delivered on every Salesforce release and propose proofs of concepts for those that could be interesting from the business or technical perspective
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and data modelling with focus on flexibility, reutilization and scalability
• Develop Lighting Web Components and/or APEX classes or use any other declarative tool to fulfil business requirements
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology, Mathematics, Physics, …
• Salesforce Certifications: Administrator and Platform Developer I. Other certifications are a plus
Experience
• 5 years as Salesforce Developer / Technical Architect
• Accountable for Salesforce technical implementations and architecture.
Technical competencies
• Knowledge of Sales, Service, Communities (Partner and Customer), Marketing Cloud
• Development of LWCs, Aura components, Apex classes, Visualforce pages and API integrations with the highest quality standards
• Use of declarative tools such as Flow Designer
• Proven expertise in managing complex data models
• Proven expertise in the use of Salesforce DX or Metadata API
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Gitlab, Jenkins, Travis, Azure DevOps…
• Knowledge of software development patterns, such as Enterprise Patterns library
• Knowledge of other programming languages: Java, Python, HTML, JavaScript, YAML
• Understanding of cloud-native software architecture patterns such as microservices, event-driven architecture, data integration, API first approaches…
• Experience with high-volume, complex data migrations
